We drive back to the Kathmandu valley and visit the Bhaktapur and Changunarayan temple which is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, we shall visit Pashupatinath and Boudhanath temple to enjoy the holy and religious values it holds for the Hindu and Buddhist people respectively. We finally head to the birthplace of Buddha, Lumbini and enjoy two days exploring the religious fact and museum of the place itself. The trip ends as we move back to the airport and take the flight back home.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu you will be kindly welcomed by our team and later you will be taken to your hotel. Feel free to enjoy your day here in Kathmandu. We will stay overnight in a hotel.

The day starts as move around the Kathmandu city. We shall start a guided tour to Swayambhunath which is also called the Monkey temple because of the population of monkey it consists. The stupa is situated at the top of the hill which enables you to get the amazing site of the valley itself. Later in the day, we shall visit Patan City and explore the true beauty it has. Patan has antique monuments and palace that gives you information on the culture, traditions and its glorious past. The ethnic group of Newar has maintained their culture and their taste for food. You should definitely try some!

Drive to Lumbini early morning. Lumbini is an irreplaceable spiritual site where Lord Buddha was born. The site is patent by Ashoka Stone Pillar, which has an inscribed impression of the birthplace of Lord Buddha. On one side of the pillar is the Mayadevi Temple, the temple named after the mother of Lord Buddha. Recent mines have shown a rock bearing Foot Prints of Lord Buddha. Pushkarni Pond, situated south of the Ashoka Pillar is where Queen Mayadevi, mother of Lord Buddha is assumed to have taken a bath before giving birth to Lord Buddha. Chinese Monastery, a multifaceted of Pagodas and prayer rooms built by Buddhist Association of China. Korean Monastery, which contains beautiful pictures of Lord Buddha. Royal Thai Monastery, located in the neighborhood of the birthplace of the Buddha at the Lumbini Sacred Garden. Ashoka Pillar, the pillar with an inscription recognizing the holy site as the birthplace, is situated nearby the Sacred Garden.

This day we shall visit Tilaurkot which is situated 28 km west of Lumbini. It is considered the historical place of Kapilvastu where Gautam Buddha had spent his first 29 years of his life at this place as a king. Later in the day, we shall visit the Kapilvastu Museum where we can get the information about the glorious past of Lumbini, Gautam Buddha, and his teachings

After an amazing trip, we shall head back to Kathmandu via plane. There is no direct flight to Lumbini, so you can come to Chitwan and board on a flight. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel room. You can either rest or enjoy the capital city at its best.
