Shree Ram Adhikari

Company Founder & Team Leader

Shree Ram Adhikari, 37, is a renowned entrepreneur in the field of adventure travel and tourism. Born in 1981, he spent most of his childhood in the remote but extraordinarily beautiful area of Dhading. Coming from a family of experienced trekkers and guides, he aspired to be involved in the sector of tourism from an early age.

After coming to Kathmandu, he had to work his way up, starting out the in the hotel industry. His perseverance led him to be exceptional in hospitality and customer service. He approached the tourism sector by working as a humble guide from 2006. One of his greatest achievements includes having walked all trails of Nepal from east to west. Following his feat, he took the climbing course from North face Climbing School and went onto climb several peaks in India standing up to 7000m.

He stretched his resourceful expertise to becoming a tour guide. His proficiency led him to establish Epic Adventures in 2010, a travelling agency with the vision to explore, research and open new trails in Nepal. Having travelled to various parts of Europe, he still believed in working hard in his own motherland and offering remote areas having enthralling natural beauty. Sharing this ideology with his employees, he is also worked on the welfare of staff by providing training facilities for them in Nepal and abroad.

He believes in engaging oneself to social work and distributes at least 20 per cent of his profits to charity. He made full efforts to help his community by helping the construction of schools in Dhading, Dolakha, and Nuwakot and donating computers from e-classes. Even after the devastating earthquake, he helped in building the temporary classroom in Nuwakot. His efforts in promoting sustainable tourism in underdeveloped regions have provided many job opportunities to the locals and even encouraged the local businesses to prosper. His passion and hard work have unlocked the unseen potential of various places in Nepal.

Er. Ram Kumar Adhikari

Managing Director/ IT consultant

Ram Kumar Adhikari grew up in a remote mountain village of Phulkharka in the Dhading district of Nepal and was fortunate enough to be able to attend Amrit Science Campus in Kathmandu. Like any average Nepali of his age at the time, he had thought about working for the government after his graduation. Eventually, with a graduate degree in Electronics and communication engineering from Kathmandu Engineering College, he was likely to pursue his career as a Telecommunication engineer. However, things changed when he realized that he had no greater passion than traveling and adventure.

“Even as a kid, I actually enjoyed walking 2 km every day to school and back! I took pleasure in the amazing views of terraced farms, waterfalls, warm smiles of passersby and the constant company of the mighty Himalayas. (Ram Kumar)”
