Description

It was not until 2008 that foreigners were permitted to enter the sacred valley of Tsum. Likewise, Manaslu Circuit welcomed international trekkers only in the early ‘90s. Hence, Manaslu with Tsum Valley Trek will have relatively fewer trekkers than other popular trekking routes of Nepal. Manaslu with Tsum Valley Trek is the perfect trek for those who wish to spend their leisure time away from the crowd and in pristine nature.

Manaslu with Tsum Valley Trek features vintage Buddhist monasteries like Chumling Gompa, Dhephu Doma Gompa, Rachen Gompa, Mu Gompa, and others in the Tsum Valley. These monasteries hold great value for people in this valley. The trek also enables the trekker to learn Bon culture from the local people met during the trek. Another feature of this trek is the traverse through isolated villages of Lho, Samdo, Samagaon, Namrung, and other small beautiful settlements nestled on the foothills of Manaslu Himal (8163m). The trekkers go through steep trails, lush Himalayan forests, majestic waterfalls, Mani walls, Chortens, and ridges adorned with Buddhist prayer flags, throughout the trek.
