The 6 days trip will summon all the taste of marvelous India which will give you an unforgettable experience. The trip starts as you take a 1 hour and 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Delhi. The capital city of India is a true beauty of its own. You will spend two days here in Delhi visiting the Qutub Minar, which is the tallest stone tower of India. The UNESCO world heritage site will give you the view of the whole city. Explore the National Museum which will give you detailed information about the Indian culture, history, and arts, and shop around the Dilli Haat for an authentic Delhi experience. Finally, visit the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib for your peace of mind. Then a short drive from Delhi leads you to the historical city of Agra. You can visit Sikandra, a monument of Emperor Akbar to explore the blend of Hindu, Buddhist, Islamic, Christian, and Jain architecture. You also visit Taj Mahal, the symbol of love and one of the 7 wonders of the world. Later you visit the Agra Fort which is also one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This used to be the seat of the Mughal Empire from which India was ruled until the 16th century. The Golden Triangle Tour then takes you to Jaipur, the pink city. Explore Jantar Mantar, Amer Fort, and the City Palace Museum in the mesmerizing city. The trip ends as you move back to Delhi and finally take the flight back to your home country.

Itinerary

Day 01: Flight from Kathmandu to Delhi or Arrival in Delhi and Visa processing

A 1 hour 35 minutes short flight will take you to the capital of India i.e. Delhi. After the visa processing and security check, you will meet our team members at the arrival section of the airport. They will then transfer you to the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Delhi

Today will be about uncovering Delhi. You will visit the Qutub Minar which was built in the 12th century. It is the tallest stone tower in India and has been listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Later, you will visit the National Museum which showcases India’s glorious history, painting, artworks, arsenals, and so on. Later, you visit UNESCO world heritage site Humayun’s Tomb, which is a 16th-century tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. You can also visit Dilli Haat, an open market, to buy Indian crafts and gifts and finally visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib to calm your mind. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 03: Drive from Delhi to Agra and sightseeing, Overnight in Agra.

A short drive from Delhi will lead you to Agra, a historical city situated on the banks of Yamuna River. You start the sightseeing with a visit to Sikandra, which is a mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. The design can be seen as a blend of Hindu, Buddhist, Islamic, Christian, and Jain style as Emperor Akbar believed in the unity of religions. You will also visit one of the 7 wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, which is the symbol of love bestowed by Emperor Shah Jahan to his favorite wife Mumtaz. The marble dome looks absolutely amazing when the sun rays fall upon its surface. Later in the day, you will visit Agra Fort, which is also a UNESCO world heritage site. This used to be the seat of the Mughal Empire which ruled India until the 1630s. Overnight in Agra.

Day 04: Drive from Agra to Jaipur and sightseeing. O/N at Jaipur

Today is the last day of the Golden Triangle Tour. You will be taken to Jaipur, the pink city, where you will visit the 17th century Jantar Mantar that is located next to the City Palace. Jantar Mantar Observatory has world’s biggest stone sundial and is truly worthy UNESCO world heritage site. You’ll also visit the popular Hawa Mahal Palace in Jaipur. You can visit the Amer Fort for great photography and head to the City Palace Museum, where the royal family of Jaipur used to live. Finally, visit the Old City Market for street shopping and trying out new food items. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 05: Drive from Jaipur to Delhi.

A 6-7 hours’ drive to Delhi will end your Golden Triangle Tour. The drive through picturesque landscapes of the lowlands of northern India gives you amazing views to relish. Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing or trying out fun stuff. Enjoy the amazing street food and try out the pubs in the capital. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 06:  Flight back to home country

Our team member will drop you at the airport to connect you to the flight to your further destination.
