Known as the most beautiful mountain in the Himalayas in Nepal, the aesthetics of Ama Dablam (6856m) is bound to take anyone’s breath away. Lying in the Everest region in the eastern part of Nepal, the marvelous pyramid-shaped mountain is one of the most sought-after mountains for climbing expedition and presents you a mind-blowing panoramic view of the surrounding giants such as the Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Cho Oyu (8188m), and Thamserku (6608m).
The 32-day long Ama Dablam Expedition tests your courage, patience, and stamina. Technical in nature, the southwest side of the mountain is the preferred route for the ascent. Ice screws, crampons, ropes, harnesses are a must in this expedition that is recommended only for mountaineers with previous experience. The Sherpa dominate this region with their fabulous mountain climbing skills and almost unreal ability to perform at high altitude. The Sherpa not only wow you with their mountaineering skills but also with their deep-rooted spiritual connection to the mountains and culture that take the Himalayas as their deity. Prayer flags along the old monasteries set up against the rocky, icy terrain, glaciers, and plenty of valleys give this region an almost movie set like appearance. You will be making multiple stops to acclimatize as you reach higher grounds. Acclimatization is vital to maintaining a healthy body and for a successful expedition. From the hustling bustling city to the remote corner of the Himalayan life, the Ama Dablam Expedition is a complete package to explore Nepal in all its glory and might. Overnight at the base camp.

For almost two weeks we will be preparing for the climb by reaching higher altitudes of Ama Dablam and setting up camps. This is done for acclimatizing, and as mentioned before, one cannot stress enough on the need for it. It is also important to wait for the weather to clear out in order to climb higher altitude as the weather in the Himalayas is unpredictable. We will set up ropes and lines as we make our way to Camp 1 and then Camp 2, a rather challenging trek which is with ice and rocky landscape. After setting up camp 3, we will make go for the summit of the gorgeous Ama Dablam (6856m) via the southwest ridge. The view from the top of Ama Dablam (6856m) is absolutely enchanting as various peaks of the Mahalangur Himalayan Range spread in front of us. After the successful ascent, we will make our way back to the base camp.
