DAY 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, a representative from Epic Adventures will pick you up from the airport and take you to Hotel. In the afternoon we will have a briefing about your trip with Epic Adventures. We will check all equipment and answer any questions you may have. In the evening there will be a mediation class on the roof top or yoga rooms. Overnight in Kathmandu. Included Meals:
DAY 02: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu
In the morning after yoga class, we will visit the Monkey Temple then onto Pashupatinath Temple, you will also visit Durbar Square to see the Heritage sights and the Boudhantha Stupa. After you return to the Hotel you will have a meditaion class. Overnight in Kathmandu. Included Meals: B
DAY 03: Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara by Buddha Air
After morning Yoga class and breakfast we take our flight to Pokhara, which will take approx 25 min with breath taking views of the Himalayas. On arrival we will be escorted to our hotel and spend a leisurely afternoon in the beautiful lakeside town of Pokhara, with an evening meditation class. Overnight in Pokhara Included meals: B
DAY 04: Pokhara to Ghandruk – trek 4 hours approx
After morning Yoga class and breakfast we will drive to Nayapul to start our trek to Ghandruk, with views of the snowy peaks above and around us glowing in the morning light. After taking photos and having some coffee or tea, we continue onto Ghandruck. We make a steep descent through several villages and into the thick forest of old rhododendron trees. When the rhododendron trees are in bloom, these forests turn into gardens of dazzlingly beautiful flowers, mostly red, when seen from the air or from afar. By afternoon we enter the village of Ghandruk, a sloping settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by the Gurung people. Whilst enjoying the stunningly close-up views of Fishtail, Annaurna South, and Hiuchuli mountains, we also acquaint ourselves with the simple but rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people at the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk. DAY 05: Ghandruk to Jhinu (Natural hot springs) – trek 4 hours approx
Before breakfast you will have Yoga class in the peaceful hotel gardens. Let the soul dance with blissful joy and exercise the physical body with views of the Himalayas. After breakfast we will head onto Jhinu, todays walk is gentle and mostly flat with downhill decent to Kimurung River where will will cross the bridge with a 20 min accent to reach the village. After checking into the hotel there is a 20 min downhill walk to the natural hot springs where you can relax in the hot pools before returning to the hotel for dinner and relaxing with our team who will introduce you to some Nepali singing & dancing. DAY 06: Jhinu to Tolka – trek 4-5 hours approx
Early morning Yoga class and breakfast before heading down to Modikhala River, we will cross the suspension bridge. You will have photo opportunities of the waterfalls and valleys, green hills and mountains. The most magnificent scenery of the Annapurna South and Himchuli. We will trek to Landruk which is a beautiful village with more amazing views. Today is definitely a camera day so make sure your batteries are charged. After lunch we set off to Tolka. Your meditation class will be in wonderful surroundings of you hotel. Overnight in Tolka Included meal B.L.D
DAY 07: Tolka to Australian Camp – trek 3-4 hours approx
Yoga class and breakfast will start later this morning before heading off. We will pass through the beautiful Rhododendron Forest and have views of Dhaulagiri which is the 7th highest mountain in the world, yet another amazing photo opportunity for you. This is the first time you will see the whole panorama of Annapurna, Manaslu, reaching the Australian Camp with views of Pokhara Lake. The hotel has peaceful gardens for this evenings meditation with sunset views. Overnight at Himalaya Guest House Included Meal B.L.D
DAY 08: Australian Camp to Kade Pokhara – trek 1.5hrs approx
Class this morning with the most beautiful sunrise across the valley, then after our breakfast we set off for Kade. We will trek to the Highway where we have a short drive to Pokhara. You will have some free time in Pokhara to do some shopping and taking in this wonderful town. Meditation class in the evening. Overnight in Pokhara Meals Included B,L,D
DAY 09: Overnight in Pokhara
Yoga class in the morning at the Hotel and breakfast. Free time in the morning with many activities to choose from, paragliding, zip lining or ultralight flight over the mountains. In the afternoon we will go for a boat ride on the Lake and visit the World Peace Stupa in the evening to see the sunset across the Lake and mountains. Overnight in Pokhara Meals Included B.
DAY 10: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Morning Yoga class and breakfast before saying goodbye to Pokhara. Transfer to airport to fly back to Kathmandu. Short flight back to the city and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon you can enjoy a massage at the Ayurveda Health Home which is a perfect alternative to your meditation. You are then invited to a Cultural Show and dinner with your guides from Epic Adventure. Overnight at Kathmandu Meals included B, D
DAY 11: Farewell Friend
We are saying good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with travel companions and organise the photos. If you have more time you can do some shopping or sightseeing. Approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight a representative from Epic Adventures will take you to the airport. On your way home you’ll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal. Included meals:B
