Description

Yala Peak Climbing is one of the best options for mountaineering enthusiasts to earn genuine climbing experience while the insane proximity to nature is truly blissful. The journey is a rather short one nevertheless it always exceeds the expectations. Yala Peak Climbing is a great choice for freshers who aspire to kickoff their mountaineering experience. It is a relatively easy climbing trek which does not require mountaineering experience so good fitness is sufficient for scaling the summit. The trek also takes you to numerous holy sites and an opportunity to observe Sherpa culture and lifestyle.

The 18-days journey begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Syabru. We make our way up to Langtang as we pass across Lama Hotel along the way.  The Langtang region is famous for its rich cultural lineage and ravishing natural beauty. A land shrouded in mystery, the trek to Yala peak gives you mesmerizing views of Shishapangma(8,013m), Tsergo Ri (4984m), Langtang Lirung (7,227m) and Dorje Lakpa (6,966m).  Langtang is also the land of glaciers and lakes which is a home to more than over seventy glaciers and also houses the holy lakes for the Hindu. The Langtang National Park is also famous for its vivid flora and fauna. During the months of April, rhododendron flowers cover the entire forests giving it a beautiful red color. The Sherpa’s and the Tamang’s are the primary inhabitants of this region who are Nepalese-Tibetans. Mostly Buddhists, their houses have prayer flags waving with fast blowing wind and the Buddhist inheritance can easily be felt. We will be seeing many places of cultural value during our trek towards Yala peak. The Kyanjin Gompa is one of the must-see places during this trek as it is the ancient and most important monastery of the Tamang community.  This trek is going to give you the chance to witness the most breath taking views of sunrises, sunsets and the night sky.
