It originates from the Tibetan plateau in Upper Mustang making its way through the deepest gorge emanating out from between Mt Annapurna (8,091m) and Mt Dhaulagiri (8,167m).  Encircled with iconic mountain views, native villages, springs, lush green forests rich in wildlife, medieval temples, and sandy beaches, Kali Gandaki is the finest all-round river adventure in Nepal.

Itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Pokhara to Maldunga via Beni (3 hours) then Rafting in Kaligandaki

Our rafting trip would initiate from the lively city; Pokhara. We will drive to Maldunga via Beni from Pokhara and prepare all the rafting gears with the help of our guides. Before we hit the raft, we will be given brief information about the raft and safety measures. We will be rafting in the assortment of rapids. Modi Khola will be our first-day campsite.

Day 02: Rafting to Purti Ghat

After a delightful breakfast, we will be rafting the ‘Good Morning’ rapid. Relishing the alluring mountain views, deep gorges and waterfalls we will raft in grade III and IV rapids before reaching Purti which would be our second-day campsite.

Day 03: Rafting from Purti Ghat to Seti Beni and Drive back to Pokhara (5 hours)

After having breakfast we will raft towards Seti Beni drifting in small rapids. While paddling over Seti Beni, we will get a chance to observe some black rocks named Saligram. These rocks are worshipped by Hindu’s as the indication of Lord Vishnu. After reaching our takeout point we will reach back to Pokhara bus.
